apple picking

we went apple picking on Saturday,
it was very enjoyable and the weather was beautiful. The whole experience was pleasant and the fresh apple cider doughnuts were fantastic.

in this pictures Madelyn and I are picking golden delicious apples, I hand them to her, she puts them in the bag. You can see by her facial expression she takes her job quite seriously.

So I am at a new job now
I loved baking but I was left with no choice but to find a new one
when Sweet temptations was forced to close. My Boss is expecting and needs to be on bed rest.

So now my job is to corral small children and make them behave while their parents are at work.
I am a head teacher at HeadStart in Cobleskill. I like it for the most part, but it is taking a lot of getting used to. If any one has any pointers for making children sit, behave, be nice or any other fun handy advice let me know i am very open to suggestions.

For all of you who were not present at the big event here are a few more picks,

Alex started college last week which means he promptly went out and got us internet, posts should be much more frequent.
especially since i am currently unemployed. That's right I was let go from my job at sweet temptations because she will be closing, or so i was told.
I am job searching any suggestions give a shout.

update at last!!!

marriage is still awesome after two months. Alex and I are getting ready for college, he will be attending Delhi while I need to get back to my Berean courses and such

First Apartment!!!!!

so yes we are very excited and i spent a good portion of the day cleaning and dusting, I hate cobwebs and believe me today was war with them. over all it was a good and i can't wait until we are ready to move in!!!

Vacation

So This Is the Disney castle for all of you who might not know. My Family and I spent several days in Florida, we went to Disney, Seaworld and then to visit my grand parents in clearwater. The trip was over all enjoyable with the exception of the whole family receiving killer sunburns on Saturday at the beach.

SeaWorld was Good, It was the first time I remember going, we sat in the soak section of the shamoo show and were dripping when we left, I never imagined a whale could throw that much water over so great a distance, pretty impressive.

I am on a hunt for wedding favors that won't break the bank, so far i have found some good ones at the knot.com any other ideas?

Wedding Plans

After over A dozen Dresses apeice, My two beautiful Flower girls were able to settle on the ones they wanted.
Natalie chose an off the shoulder cream dress with pink and cream flowers





Madelyn chose a cream dress with a sash around the middle that ties in the back,
It also has a good deal of embrodiery lace along the bottom




After all the excitment all parties envolved were famished and Promptly reported to Friendly's for Ice cream Sundaes.

Over all it was a productive and enjoyable day.
